Rollins Lake is a beautiful lake nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas. The lake is located approximately two hours from San Francisco and approximately one and one half hours from Reno, Nevada.
At Rollins Lake you will find 26 miles of shoreline and many coves perfect for fishing. The most common fish caught include German Brown, Catfish, Bass, Crappie, Perch and Bluegill.
The average water temperature in the summer is about 72 degrees.
Many boaters venture up the Bear River that feeds into Rollins Lake. This is where you can see some of the most beautiful scenery in California.
